• Courtesy Visit to Chief Engineer Giandomenica Massari
  The 4th of July would be a memorable day for the entire cyclist in Rivers state. Members of the lifestyle cycling club and the team Rivers of the Rivers state cycling association gave one of their Patrons Chief Engineer Giadomenico Massari a courtesy visit. The visit which seemed to be simple turned to be a meaningful one .The Patron in his speech encouraged the cyclist to work in unity and never to be discouraged because better things are coming their way. He also added that the patrons are taking giant steps to make sure that cycling will become a sport to reckon with in Rivers state and Nigeria as a whole. • The 2nd African Youth Games : Gaborone 2014
  The 2nd African Youth Games tagged Gaborone 2014 was positive one for cycling in Nigeria. The junior women team raced completely two laps of the 10.0km course. The Rivers stated female riders who represented Nigeria came out in the third place in the individual time trials.
  The individual time trials were contested for by 46 countries while 15 countries contested for the team time trials. The female athletes for the team time trials were Sylvia Odum, Mercy Williams and Mercy Ajoku all of Rivers State while Sylvia Odum contested for the individual time trial...........click to view images

• 7th Edition of Garden City Cycling Championship
  The 7th Edition of Garden City Cycling Championship which was organised by Rivers State Cycling Association in conjunciton with the Lifestyle Cycling Club of Port Harcourt came to an end on Sunday 26th of February, 2012 as Gloria Odasi and Goodnews Edeth won the championship for Female and male Championship respectively.
  
  The event was flagged off by the Commissioner of Sport Rivers State represented by Sir Harry JP (Director of Sport,River State). Also in attendance were Barrister Guido Marangoni (Legal Adviser Italian Cycling Federation) and Mr. Andrea Tonti (Deputy Coach Italian Cycling Federation)
  
  

• 17th National Festival
  The 17th edition of theNational Sport Festival (NSF) tagged "Garden City Games" and which ended in Port Harcourt on July 9 came with a lot of challenges to the host state but at the end, it left an indelible mark in the mind of 13,762 athletes, accompanying coaches, officials and fans as Team Rivers won the overall gold medals on offer in cycling clinching 12 out of the 15 gold mendal that wre contested for. Rivers state was far ahead of its nearest rivals Delta and Edostates respectively with as much as 35 Gold medals.
  
  

• Govering Board of RSC Meet over Garden City Charity Ride 2010
  The Governing Board of the Rivers State Cycling Association of Nigeria, on its first meeting of the year held at La Meridian Hotel Port Harcourt on the 17th of January, have come up with the date for their Road Show tagged – Garden City Charity Ride 2010. Relatively, a tentative date has also been given for the Biggest Competition of the year – The 5th Garden City Cycling Championship 2010. Below are the dates:
